
Two Cultural Spaces, One House
Kyara Arthouse is home to two distinct but complementary cultural offerings. The Kyara Gallery hosts art exhibitions, artist talks, music theatre, film screenings, and cultural events open to the public. Separately, Meo Meo Atelier—the dedicated studio of co-founder and artist Phạm Ngọc Trâm—offers intimate workshops in traditional Vietnamese embroidery and natural dyeing.

Kyara's ~75sqm gallery and event space has hosted solo and group art exhibitions, music theatre, film screenings, artist residency open studios, lectures, and cultural performances. The space is open to proposals from artists and cultural practitioners working in any discipline.

Meo Meo Atelier
Fine Art Workshop by Pham Ngoc Tram
Meo Meo Atelier is the dedicated embroidery and textile art studio of artist and co-founder Phạm Ngọc Trâm, established in Hoi An in 2014. A graduate of Vietnam National Fine Art University and the École Lesage in Paris, Tram has spent decades documenting endangered Vietnamese textile traditions and translating that research into living practice. Her workshops are intimate, unhurried, and rooted in genuine cultural knowledge.

Vietnamese Hand Embroidery Heritage
Learn traditional Vietnamese hand embroidery techniques passed down through generations. Working with pure mulberry silk threads on natural fabrics, Tram guides you through foundational stitches and the cultural stories embedded in each motif.

Artist Talk: The Beauty of Vietnamese Embroidery & Textile Heritage

Guests have the rare opportunity to view ancient embroidery and textile artefacts from Kyara's private collection—pieces Tram has gathered through years of field research across Vietnamese craft villages.
